About the guidelines

The ANGELS Guidelines provide clinical guidance to providers for more than 170 obstetrical and neonatal conditions. Every guideline is peer-reviewed by multidisciplinary clinical experts and updated annually to reflect current best practices.

The guidelines are maintained as part of the High-Risk Pregnancy Program, a joint program of the Arkansas Center for Women & Infants' Health—housed within the UAMS Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology—and the Arkansas Department of Human Services. This program is designed to support providers in Arkansas with the goal of improving obstetrical and neonatal outcomes throughout the state.
